Fully Autonomous Soccer Playing Robot

For my Intro to Robotics class which I took Fall of 2021, our capstone project was to make a fully autonomous soccer playing robot. In the events leading up to the culmination of the project, lab work consisted of making arduino based arcade games, fet and diode-based motor controllers, facilitating raspberry pi to serial arduino communication, etc.


The robot was guided by radio data provided to it by the central transmitters broadcasting location data of the robots and the ball. This transmitter obtained data from a top-down facing camera. Our robot utilised the a* motion planning algorithm.
